The chips were slightly stale, but the queso was good, although thin and difficult to scoop onto a chip with salsa. However, the enchiladas poblanas and suizas were exceptional! We will definitely return when we visit the island again.

I had a fantastic experience at El Gusto. Their breakfast menu is great and their enchiladas are delicious. I have never had a bad dinner here, and the owners and wait staff are extremely friendly. The fact that there are many regular customers is always a good sign. While there are plenty of options for Mexican food on the island, El Gusto should definitely be at the top of your list.

Had very good enchilada plate. Lots of locals eating there, which I always like to see. Also, don't miss the wall mural of The Virgin of Guadeloupe hugging Pope John Paul in the parking lot. Give it a try.

The food is always good. The service is always friendly and polite. I do have an issue with the salt shakers that have rust on the lids. But other than that it's a good place to go for home cooked Mexican dishes.
