Bidrage med feedbackWe were staying at the ranch and looking forward to dinner especially after seeing how good their breakfast was. However, we were beyond disappointed when every meal that we had came out bland and/or incorrect. It turns out that the main cook was tending to a wedding on site so there was someone else covering. It ruined the experience so much that they would have been better to close the restaurant for the evening than to disappoint all their patrons. All around us we saw plates getting sent back so it wasn’t just us either. I’m willing to give them another shot but it was really a terrible dinner. Only positive was how Sidney (our server) handled the mess that she was dealt. I hope this was just an isolated incident so we’ll see next time we’re back. During an unplanned stay in Bozeman, I had the opportunity to check out the 320 Guest Ranch and McGill’s Restaurant and Saloon. They provided us with a deck of cards from the front desk and we took time to relax and enjoy the warm atmosphere. We drank unique and tasty drinks from bartender Matt. Made fools of ourselves getting every last bit of one of the best appetizers I’ve EVER had, the 320 Game and Mushrooms! Pro-tip; save any of the leftover gravy for dipping your fries into! I had fries to do this with from my Bison Rueben sandwich! The Bison on this was perfectly seasoned! Ended out sharing an order of their apple empanadas and ice cream ie., eating grandma’s apple pie in a pocket! Yum! Josh, you are an excellent chef! Will I be back? Yes, with family next time to share this amazing place with! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Recommended dishes: Mushroom Appetizer
We ventured in right before the kitchen closed. Large party. They accommodated us, which was lovely. We were confused by the name on the actual building as it was different than the google search. We couldn't get **** Mary's for some reason, which was disappointing. Food was mediocre. Mac and Cheese was cold and unflavorful. Cool looking place though- from what we could see in the dark.
Bethany hostess and server has a great personality. Common ground since she and us originally from Texas. Beet salad wedge salad fish and Chips and elk medallions all good. When asked to sub Brussels and kale I would have appreciated knowing about the up charges. She did remove the Brussels. Out of sauvingnon blanc disappointing. Glad 320 open again in winter for dinner.
Visited this after a week in big sky being disappointed by restaurants. It was a bit off the beaten path, but the menu looked interesting and I could get a reservation on open table (had experienced some large waits already). This ended up being our favorite meal of the trip. The bone marrow appetizer was amazing. Also the buffalo tenderloin was one of the best pieces of meat out I’ve ever had. If you are willing to drive a bit out of the way I would highly recommend. Kid-friendliness: We went with our 4 year old son even though there was no advertised kids menu. They had a separate kids menu and our son was very comfortable. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100
