Greene Growlers - Gaithersburg

I planned a birthday dinner for my husband with his family. We arrived at the restaurant only to find it was unexpectedly closed. I would have expected for a restaurant to reach out to those with a reservation, or communicate with Open Table. No communication. Very unhappy.

The restaurant was closed for Valentine's Day, but they must have forgotten to inform Open Table.

The service was great. We were met at the door and taken to our table, our server appeared within a couple of minutes, and was pleasantly attentive throughout our stay. The food was fairly typical bar food, not especially for our liking. We wouldn't recommend this for a dinner date.

As soon as we walked in, we were greeted warmly and received outstanding service from all staff members, particularly our server. The food, including the dessert made by in-house chef, was superb.

The service was excellent, the house beers were really delicious, and the wings burgers were amazing. However, I was somewhat disappointed that there was no salmon available and the kids' penne pasta was not actually penne pasta.
