Hickman Hill - Gainsborough

This is a wonderful hotel set in its own private gardens consisting of ten really good sized rooms. We have recently spent 3 nights here and seriously cannot fault a thing! The staff are friendly, very helpful and extremely courteous. Especially a lady called Phillipa....she was amazing! So helpful and polite and really went the extra mile to ensure our stay was perfect. It was! The owner is also the chef ...the food is of a real very high standard and the menu is varied enough to guarantee there is something that you would eat. I certainly would go there again with no hesitation. Rooms: The room which I stayed in was spacious and separate bathroom with bath and walk-in shower. Food drinks: The food is simply wonderful. The menu is varied and exciting. I would say to be totally honest that the dessert menu could be adjusted a bit....but that's only me being finicky.

Just did a wedding here as the photographer. It’s a really great place with lovely staff and the food is out of this world. Absolutely superb! Can’t fault the place. AAAA Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

Just returned from a wonderful stay where the hosts went the extra mile from making us welcome to feeding us at very short notice when arrival was delayed due to traffic, room was comfy and slept well, the breakfasts were very welcome and satisfying thank you Frank Karen Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5
