The Colored Egg - Gainesville

A friend of mine brings me the cinnamon rolls. They are AMAZING. They are huge, the size of your head. They are so so so good. Can't wait to try other things from here.

Earlier this week I ordered boxed meals for a board meeting and was completely overwhelmed by the service provided by The Colored Egg. Kathy was quick to respond to any emails or phone calls and went above and beyond to ensure that each of our 25 meals (each included a different combo of sandwiches and desserts) was packaged according to our order with the name of the recipient neatly written on top. The food was divine and I will definitely be ordering again in the future!

Great place!!! Try the quiche- it's excellent!!!!! Pimento and cheese was better hot, but still very good : If you come at lunch be prepared to take it to-go because there is very limited seating. I'll definitely go back!

We are here on a weekend vacation. Our airbnb recommend coming. We enjoyed everything we got! 2 smoothies, 2 peach muffins, apple spice cake, chicken artichoke quiche and a cinnamon bun to go. The young lady who ran the cash register was super sweet.
