Mildred's Big City Food - Gainesville

Mildred’s is my favorite restaurant in town. The ambiance is always spot on with soft music and softer lighting. The staff, particularly Claudine and Chris, are so warm and accommodating. All members of staff, but especially these two, have made me feel so welcome and actively engage with me every time. The food speaks for itself so I will add photos but if I am to speak on it, I can say that every dish is so well thought out and cooked to perfection. Chris makes a phenomenal Aviation, which is my favorite cocktail and I can be quite particular about them. The martinis are also choice. They do not respect their employees, the chef is constantly belittling and will completely change your schedule with no notice. Does not respect a person’s availability, and is a huge misogynist. Do not support this business.
