David's Bbq Catering - Gainesville

I went through davids to eat lunch for an event at work and I must say that they were amazing. very professional from beginning to end. they were able to change my order a little to meet our customers better and I loved that. They were also very timely with the picking up of the food, everything was ready to go as ii came this morning without delay. the food itself was a hit with our customers and employees, it was so good! if you were looking for an event, those are your people!

23rd is the david’s bbq for me, the staff is friendly, knows their order when they visit regularly. breakfast or lunch, busy or slow, these employees go beyond and beyond to help / take care of their hungry needs.

This was only my second visit to Dave 's BBQ, but both times, I recieved good, quick service, excellent food and noted that the dining room was clean and pleasant. On both occasions. I had pulled pork sandwiches with french fries. The sandwiches were fairly priced for their size and there is no need to ask for a large order of fries. I asked only for fries and I got a nice, big bag of fries. They were large cut, lightly salted and piping hot. All in all, my visits to Dave 's was very good. The only reason for not giving the place 5 stars is that I asked for BBQ sauce on the side but didn 't get it and was 5 miles down the road before I noticed.h Fortunately, the pork was so tender and smoky, it didn 't really need sauce. It would have been nice but the sandwich was good without it. All in all, it was a great BBQ restaurant and I WILL go back !!!

Wow wow wow wow, honestly haven’t had a breakfast this good in a minute! I ate the working persons breakfast biscuits gravy with Canyon cubes) Didn’t need that salt and pepper as usual was full of flavor! Topped that off with 2 large Old-fashioned Buttermilk pancakes tried it with the blueberry syrup and their other syrup) it didn’t even need syrup it was so good! 10/10 recommend checking them out very filling breakfast for under $20. Coffee was nice and hot, Sweet tea was on point and finally they have that good ice to the little cubes ice haha! Customer service was on point, counter service I wish we could see everywhere! Make sure you check them out! I’ll definitely be back! Wish I could have taken a photo but there’s no evidence left haha!!

I chose David's BBQ to cater my wedding last weekend and could not be more satisfied. The staff thinks of everything so that you don't have to. As a bride, knowing there is a team dedicated to making sure everything is perfect is a huge relief.The brisket and chicken were tender and the green beans crisp, and if there is something you want not on the menu they will make it happen. I had two vegan guests and was concerned how they would fair with BBQ. Bobby made a separate dish for them that was filling and delicious. Other caterers I spoke to said I would have to make the vegan dish large enough to feed all 60 guests because they couldn't control who would grab it because it was buffet style. David's BBQ just set it aside and my two guests knew to ask for it, saving me a lot of money and headache.In addition to the delicious food and excellent service, I took advantage of their massive decoration warehouse. I did not buy a single thing to decorate my tables. I used their crystal goblets, gold flatware, plates and napkins. They even arranged the flowers I had delivered from Publix! If you are looking to cater a wedding or special event look no further. David's BBQ catering is a one stop shop with dedicated and passionate people!
