Bidrage med feedbackI explained that we hadn’t eaten much and didn’t realize the cost would be so high; otherwise, we would have chosen a different restaurant. I politely asked if he could offer us a discount this time, expressing that we would happily return in the future. However, he firmly refused and went on with his duties. I left $15 cash on the table, gave the waitress a $2 tip, and walked out. Shortly after, the manager came after me, writing down my license plate number and threatening to call the police. I found his behavior completely unreasonable and told him he could go ahead and call the cops over a mere $4.89. Surprisingly, he did call, and officers actually showed up at my house demanding the money. I was astounded that they would spend time over less than $5. I explained the situation, especially how the manager's loud confrontation in the parking lot had upset both me and my daughter, but ultimately paid the amount since I felt I had no other option. Needless to say, I won't be returning to this restaurant, and I agree with others who say the food isn’t great either.
I've never dined here, but after reading the previous review, I have to say that, yes, the manager could have been more courteous in their treatment. However, when you go out to eat, you shouldn't expect the restaurant to provide free or discounted meals. If you knew you wouldn't be eating much, why choose a buffet? Additionally, if the price signs were confusing, why not ask for clarification before you started eating?
