Bidrage med feedbackThis place is delicious. The food is amazing. My only beef is that they keep cutting back their hours, which makes me feel like it's closing. But I hope this is not the case, because the food is so good.
Delicious food. Small seating with seating (about 6 seats) and stools (3 seats). Looks like a great lunch break with some limited hours. It was a little disappointed that they have no particularly hot/spicy items, but the quality of the food was on the point.
I love this place in sad one city closed, but this place is so good I love the CBR sandwich or I get the po’ritto. There are many other things I love, so check them out!
Since Levee is a restaurant I would miss so much if I moved out of town. Cajun/Creole cuisine is my favorite and this is the real deal. The food is so tasteful. I like her menu changing a few options day by day because I had nothing here I didn't like. I have seen some complaints about eating not spicy enough, but there are a lot of hot sauces to supplement if you like it spicier, so I'm not really sure what the problem is. I've never had any problems (or heard of any) about going there during business hours and not being there. They were always open when I or my friends go and we go A LOT, this place special. And there's always good music. It is a little on the small side, but I think most people get takeout (we do quite often at least). The only other place I have found that great Cajun is Gallo's Kitchen Bar (they are a Cajun/Italian Fusion) but they are much more pricier and I really think the food in Da Levee is just as good. Oh and the food that is cooked in another place, then put in this place, it could (or was made) be brought to the high street location in downtown (closed now) and to this place. So it is still homemade by Da Levee and there is sincerely no effect in the quality of food. I can't wait to see what new project the owner of Da Levee is working on.
Awesome cajun food, made fresh daily. Limited menu selection changes slightly day to day. Small but adequate seating area. Great lunch stop during the week, but not open evenings or weekends. Another authentic local restaurant worth visiting supporting if you are in the area.
