I must say that we have previously, my partner and I, searched for places in the opposite with the highest number of reviews, but I must stress that it was a great pleasure to find this restaurant. you're back 100 times. I leave the photos of the dishes. Absolutely to taste the ugly torte, the votiw court is also very good and the rigatoni alla gaetana are spectacular. we spent about 60 euro in 2. the dishes very plentiful, but especially good. a traditional kitchen with the hearts of herrn gianni, which was very friendly. we felt at home and had a great meal. thanks for everything. to soon tira la luna da gianni.
I was there in October 2017, a wonderful evening, very good dinner especially the excellent appetizers and first courses .... all very fresh. The friendly staff and the chef Gianni an exquisite person, characteristic and quiet place, not to be missed!
We had the most delicious and unforgettable lunch and visit with gianni! he is an excellent cook, freshest seafood and salad, great local wine, and he went over just good food and customer service, we were friends! if there were 6 stars he would get them!
The moon of gianni looks like a local rich in traditions and managed by two fantastic people. in the restaurant we are warmly welcomed by the owner gianni, who immediately lets us feel at home. we sit on one of the outside tables and after we have served some water we get the menus that present a good selection of different and traditional dresses from gaeta. always a gianni as a cook recommends some typical local dishes. each dish was freshly prepared by gianni, from outside you could actually admire what love and care he and his wife cooked our dishes. we ate the tiella and a votapiatto, the tiella is a riot of balanced aromen, which provides our palate with delicate. the court was absolutely perfect, both dishes contained fish that was very fresh. first we took a risotto and spaghetti gianni, both dishes were excellent results, not even a reiskorn was was was wasted. as a second we ate a mixed fish roast, the roast was light and non-fat, so an excellent frit! also the cheese cake was excellent, but besides the dressing we were very impressed by the love and dedication in the activity of the very nice couple, giannis woman told us about her love to cook, dear that we found in the dressing. a must when they visit gaeta! traditional cuisine, love, devotion and above all an example of life.
It has caught our attention to the name. a look at the reviews here and we decide to taste a lunch. we are welcomed by the owner gianni. In view of the heat, we sit inside where it's cool. the interieur is simply equipped with pieces that remember the seafaring. we choose from the menu. in the meantime we are offered a taste of the tiella. very appreciated. and shortly after that the actual lunch begins. uncomplicated dishes perfectly cooked and with natural fresh ingredients of the place. the portions between the right and the full that they satisfy and leave the aromen of what they eat in their mouth. we have risen and satisfied, sat and happy at the end of lunch. the price is a fineness that pays back a light and tasty kitchen well. gianni, maria, gianluca exquisite people in the hand, beautiful and social. we went back to dinner every night because we couldn't do it without him. tira la luna enters her with his arome his simpleness his men and never goes away. we will see soon!
