Mart Delicatessen - Fyshwick

A hidden gem of Canberra. Known to most of the locals but missed by many visitors. Not only does the deli have a huge range of local and imported food but it serves great coffee and a breakfast that will keep you going all day

We loved our early morning visit to the Fyshwick Fresh Food Markets, and our breakfast at Mart Delicatessen was the highlight. On a sunny but chilly winter's morning, the tables here were in full sun, a warm and relaxing place to sit for a while. The staff were friendly, the coffee good and the fruit toast amazing! All at good prices, and at a place off the regular tourist trail, and full of locals.

This deli coffee shop is excellent. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. The coffee is consistently good, as are the cakes, pastries, and bread. The selection of deli items is of high quality, including cheese and meats. Customers' questions are answered with plenty of advice and tastings. The prices are reasonable. Speaking with Ollie will also provide you with French language lessons. We highly recommend this place. Always a great experience.

This place has the best coffee at the Fyshwick markets hands down. Their cakes are good too but don't go past the coffee :)

Thank goodness for this restaurant - it's the only one in Canberra that offers a full selection of dishes. Highly recommended!
