The staff make you feel welcome and know how to treat there customers right. Good beer great food and lovely people. The only way for you to truly know is to go there and find out for yourself soon.

I visited The Stanley Arms for a drink and possibly some food. When I walked in the customers and barman looked at me as though we shouldn’t be there. I asked for two different drinks which I was laughed at and told they don’t stock, no apology no alternative offered. No food offered. It was a very uncomfortable experience. I get the impression that unless you are local you are not welcome. It was a shame because the pub itself is a very nice old building, let down by poor service.
