The County - Fylde

We booked a 3 night stay for a break , to look at the area as we have not been to the area for many years.It started very well ,room was clean , it has been updated in recent years .Drinks and general food are resonable , and bar /lounge have a nice atmosphere. On the evenings we ate out at the Red Fort in Lytham and St Annes fish restaurant great gluten free options , both were excellant. Lytham has many eateriers , but a bit expensive ie Lytham kitchen for breakfast ,thats because of my wife's gluten free needs . The Countys breakfast fine and resonsonable but very poor on gluten free awareness,hence our Lytham kitchen visit ie no bread , and you cant have this , but poor options .Parking is also a negative ,only 3 bays ,1 of these disabled , another 4 blocked off by flower boxes ! This resulted in getting a 25 pound fine for parking across the road for over 24 hours . The 3 bays of the hotel never became available !The beds are on the firm side ,but no draws for clothes and only 1 chair for dressing table. Blackpool is a dump sorry Blackpool but wife enjoyed the tower ballroom and lights !!

We love visiting Lytham and today we popped in here for our lunch. Food was delicious and tasty. Fillet steak panni was cooked perfectly. Would highly recommend to anyone local or visiting the area. The county has a lovely cosy decor and staff were helpful and friendly. On top of our list to visit again soon.

What a little gold mine of a place ! We brought 54 people form our local community in Huddersfield to the hotel for lunch before they went out to explore the surrounding areas. Stuart was fabulous with us all , the food was amazing and the service was brilliant, nothing was too much. Fully accessible and the price was fabulous for what we got. Highly recommended for a group booking or anyone else fancying a trip out. Thanks you we will be back Helen

Central hotel Staff great , rooms do the job and at a reasonable price The food was much better that I was expecting, normal pub fair but cooked well, 12 of us eat and everyone was happy with their meal. The price was excellent. Some good beers on offer No parking on site but plenty of free parking on the roads If I came back to Lytham again I would stop here again

Internal hotel decor excellent, room , 11, excellent, on the front,kingsize bed ideal for spouses not on speaking term, huge. Had evening meal out because it was quiz night, personal choice. All staff excellent, breakfast chap very efficient and sociable. Pity no choice of croissants or pastries at breakfast but 'small Irish ' was very good and egg and bacon bap enjoyed by my wife. Limited car parking because tables extended out into same. Parked at station long stay for £2.90 overnight, no probs. Yes, would stay again, and as 2nd in Innkeepers group would recommend.
