Shí Shì Chǔ Dé - Futtsu

On the way to Momiji Road, I searched for a place to eat and stopped by here. If it weren't for the power of the internet, I wouldn't have found it. There is no prominent sign, so if you don't know about it, you might just pass by. When I asked for a recommendation, I was pointed to the chalkboard menu and chose the Tai Kabuto-ni set meal for 1100 yen. I was expecting the fish to be split in half at the head, but it was a whole fish in a delicious simmered broth, very satisfying. I would like to give it a perfect 5 out of 5, but it took over 30 minutes for the meal to come out and I didn't see any other customers during that time, so I think it's a bit tough to fully enjoy the experience.

The owner here is very attentive and the food is delicious.

I had the tonkatsu set meal. It was delicious.
