Good restaurant, nice food and friendly waiters. Can recommend their pizza! Didn’t bring in a lot of people so the waiters are very attentive!

Had a pleasant meal here , we chose the tourist menu which is 17.95 euro's for three courses and a drink . I read some average reviews about this place , but it is nice with good food . I also read on tripadvisor that some one had been over charged so I checked my bill and the same happened to me , when I queried it they apologised and amended the bill.

Had special burgers here one lunchtime. Food good and good price. but waited ages for it. Nearly walked out.

The hotels may tell you not to eat at the local restaurants, but that's only because they want you to eat in their own restaurant! Don't believe them, go explore private restaurants such as this one, to get a real taste of Madeira.

We are off the tourist menu here which I was a little worries about but my worry was for nothing. All the courses were absolutely delicious and beautifully presented- excellent value for money. Our waiter was lovely and couldn't do enough for us.
