O Cafe Do Oscar - Funchal

This restaurant was very good at either serving and food quality. The meals are healthy and tasty. The stuff isn’t that good as the coffees are not done properly. Apart from that the restaurant is absolutely lovely.

We love very much to try out cafes and restaurants off the tourist map as it gives us the opportunity to try our limited Portuguese language. We sat and waited some time before the surly waitress approached us and despite asking for a menu, she shrugged and pretended she didn't understand us. Ok, doce Chinesa white coffees) and doce pastel donate two custard tarts). We received two small undrinkable black coffees slapped down and no pastries clearly some people do not want or need your custom and this is one such place. What really gripped the s was there were other coffee shops nearby, perhaps more accommodating. Next time we will try there.
