Cable Car Cafe - Funchal

Great views, busy, we sat outside and the service was fine we got lucky. A nice refreshing drink was needed after trekking up and down the hills of Monte Palace.

Nice views, bad service. We arrived at 2pm it was about 2/3 full. We 2aited 45 minutes for a menu! And a further 20 mins for 5 drinks. Then a half drunk beer was taken away before it was finished whilst taking a photo.

One of the best places I've ever eaten. Amazing food and coffee think the best brunch you've had, and then couple with truly spectacular views on the terrace. We went for a coffee after cable car before hike, came back for lunch and was so impressed that I considered walking up the 500m climb on the last morning to get breakfast before we left.

We stopped of here for a drink and cake, it was lovely, the cake was just delicious, service was great, a lovely stop off.
