My culinary experience was amazing! the service was very attentive and accommodating. drinks can take a moment to make, but I can guarantee that the drinks are phenomenal. they are advised by the non-alcoholic mocktails. I made the mistake to order him and think he had alcohol! that's my fault. the lavender with gin is delicious. will be here for more special occasions. many thanks to the passport!

While the location is unexpected, once inside Journeyman's Food Drink you are enveloped in an elegant and serene atmosphere. The waitstaff is discreet, attentive and knowledgeable. The food is delicious, innovative and absolutely beautiful. Chef Zach Geerson's incredible attention to craftsmanship and detail make for an extraordinary dining experience. By far my very favorite restaurant I have eaten at in Orange County, CA

I rated this based on the price point of the restaurant $330 for two people) food was ok some dishes tasty octopus risotto) and others I didn’t want to finish because I found them to be too fishy tasting ojah sushi, deep fried smelt amuse bouche) or too dry brioche bread, sponge in chocolate dessert). The wine pairings and service were quite good which helped salvage the score, but overall we were hoping for a great fine dining experience in Orange County and journeyman’s food did not deliver. Also the ambiance specifically the lighting really needs to be addressed to fit a fine dining experience.

My man and I enjoyed our dinner at journeyman very much. it was an unusual experience that it was a pre-fix menu with four curses, but we had three choices for each court. we both enjoyed each cure, except I don't dessert, so my man got my dessert as well. we both decided that the otopus was the best dish of the evening. I didn't know he liked otopus until this evening. the main course, lachs, was so tender and tasteful. the waiter was very helpful in the explanation of the dishes and the cook visited us to talk about the dishes. all in all, a pleasant evening. I would recommend reiseman for another and pleasant eating experience.
