I love these beach bars, there are just I really enjoy mahou beer, it is such a light, chopped and unpredictable beer and very easy to drink and a beer style that I really enjoy, we really enjoyed our beer here and although we stayed only for one beer before we continued to go, as with any other visit here we had a great time. a great chiringuito and good to check.
Last Wednesday evening I went directly from the work for a drink and to eat something with a friend. we parked across the street and that was the first chiringuito we came to. I'd like to be able to rate this, but unfortunately. everything went wrong in the first few minutes. my friend needed to use the toilet so that we went into the bar (before sitting on an outside table) to ask where the toilet is. one of the two bar employees pointed towards the beach. we wanted to look for the toilet when we saw a guy licking against a blue at the beach. he said my friend omg that the guy has a pee he reacted to. I asked them where the toilet was, and they said I was sorry. Obviously they thought we were not customers and wanted to use only the facilities. how very wrong and very rude. it wasn't like we just walked from the beach. Oh, well the next chiringuito below got our business instead and very nice juan playa was also! her personal is shocking.
We were strolling along the front and came across a sign which said sardines and beer 5 euros. Well I knew of Sicilian fisherman cooking sardines on the beach at the end of a day's fishing, but here it was on the Costa de Sol....We went in and around the side, on a large boat filled with sand was a man cooking (roasting) sardines. What an aroma! So dos sardinas ordered and two cold Spanish beers arrive followed by one large plate of sardines, roasted whole and coated with olive oil and some bread. Delicious, then the second plate arrived and we ended up with nine sardines each, quite a good sized snack, eaten with the fingers. All of this while sitting in the sun, on the beach. 10 euros, Heaven Go there!
Excellent Spanish Chiringuito, supurb seafood, tapas and local dishes.very friendly Spanish staff. Right on the beach, good beach takeaway all served at your sunbed.
I have no doubt that most of the beach bars here are much of a muchness, but this one worked for us and it has to be said that there is nothing much nicer than sitting under a bar parasol with your feet in the...sand while eating freshly caught and grilled sardines and sipping ice cold San Miguel, a drink I would never touch in England but which is perfect here. It's all about the ambiance and location as much as the food and service.
