The Rose Plantation - Fruitland Park

My family and I had an amazing experience! The food, drinks, atmosphere, scenery, and staff were all fantastic. I highly recommend this place, and we will definitely be returning!

We had a fantastic first visit! The service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was excellent. I can’t wait for our next occasion to return.

I hope the same server who took care of us will be there again the next time we visit. I’m sorry I can’t remember her name right now, but she’s from Rhode Island, so maybe the management can help identify her. I highly recommend this place, as well as the various special events they host on certain nights.

Last night, my husband and I went there for the first time for my birthday. Overall, The Rose Plantation was all I expected beautiful house with China porcelain and white tablecloths. We loved the elegant dress code and of course the classic songs of Joe, the piano player. The crab cakes and risotto with darkened sea mussels were also very delicious! My only disappointment was the caprese salad, which not as a traditional look with tomatoes and mozzarella slices alternating them themselves, but rather was a “caper” version with cherry tomatoes and just a few bocconcini of mozzarella.... a version that can be found more in a pizzeria vs an elegant place! Lovely venue, good food, excellent service thank you Willie! My friend and I enjoyed some excellent chicken salad, a good turkey sandwich, and a very unusual and tasty grilled cheese with cheddar, gruyere, pecans and blueberry. Loved the potato salad, very homemade tasting, reminded me of my mother's and I consider hers the gold standard. Wish we would have had room for dessert, we'll save room next time!
