Brucci's Pizza - Fruit Cove

They have locations in Fruit Cove, Ponte Vedra Beach right at Beaches Hodges. Jacksonville has a ton of Italian places that serve up just average pizza. Brucci's has pretty good pizza. They also have pasta and panini's. I never had their pasta and honestly it doesn't look that good but their pizza is pretty good. We ordered a certificate on-line for $25 and we paid $12. That's why we tried it and we'll be back again. It was good food and the service was good.

We went here a few times over the years and were quite unhappy, mostly with the service and sometimes with the food. Yesterday evening (Jan 2021) we thought we would give him a last chance since we had a voucher. We were greeted as soon as we came in from the guy who made the pizza. Our server was fantastic (dark some curly hair). He checked us repeatedly, cleaned the table when we were done, brought us a check at the right time without asking. The salad with chicken bites was really delicious. The pizza was much better than in the past. It was perfectly cooked. I hope it stays because we both really enjoyed it. I think they have a new owner.

The pizza is really good and crispy, with thin crust. The cheese is also really good. Customer service is in place with most places like this.

*Update: I appreciate the way this restaurant came out again. They compensated me with new pizza and garlic knots. This pizza was fantastic! Thank you for your customer service! Original Review: I love white pizza, but their had so much garlic, it was really rough. Every bite had a real crunch on it because of all the garlic. I also found the garlic knots well made and hard to be. I was disappointed because I loved Brucci, and that was the first time I could get my hands on her food in 12 years. I also used UberEats and they were fast at delivery, which is why I gave two stars instead of one. I've never thrown away a whole pizza before, but I just can't get it stomach. Happy for you, Bruccis, for the old days! Maybe it wasn't your day.
