Bidrage med feedbackThe Princess is a charming little spot tucked away on the main street of Frostburg, Maryland. This restaurant radiates a sense of nostalgia, with many of the booths featuring small personal stereos that, while no longer functioning, add to the quaint ambiance. The food is excellent and reasonably priced, offering a diverse menu that includes homemade buffalo sauce, barbecue options, and delicious cheeseburgers. Whether you're on a budget or simply seeking a cozy local eatery, I highly recommend visiting The Princess. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have!
One of the best Reubens I've ever had.. their piggy fires were the bomb!! Would definitely love to revisit.
During our visit to town, we stopped by for a quick breakfast. The staff was incredibly friendly, the food was delicious, and the prices were quite reasonable. I highly recommend trying the French toast!
Awful experience! We took the train from Cumberland and arrived as one of the first groups for lunch at the restaurant. The waitress promptly brought us menus and drinks (though she forgot my husband’s drink, which is fine for now) and took our order within five minutes of our arrival. Everything seemed fine until the restaurant started to fill up. I'm not sure what happened, but after 20 minutes, then 30, then 40, we still hadn’t received our food. Our waitress didn’t check on us or even notice that my husband still hadn’t gotten his drink. All the surrounding tables of locals were being served, but we and a couple of other train passengers were left waiting. After 45 minutes, we finally approached the front to ask what was going on, and the response was simply, "Sorry, we’re doing our best." At this point, I can’t even say whether the food is good or bad, since we had to take it to go after waiting an hour. By the time I got to eat, it was cold. The customer service was the worst I’ve ever encountered. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, especially if you’re on a tight schedule to catch a train. Look for somewhere else that values its customers!
We stopped here when we rode the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad. It's a bit of a walk up the hill, but well worth it. Friendly staff, quick service, great prices, and good home cooked food. This place is more like a true American Diner. Wouldhighly recommend stopping here if you need a quick, cheap bite to eat!
