Landhaus Rois - Weinkeller Catering

We had heard how good the food was so we came for an evening of supposed fine dining of Styrian traditional food. We were shocked to find that they had a large birthday function complete with live band on right in centre of the restaurant. There wasn't even a door dividing the diners from the loud horn/accordion, terrible singing, and increasingly drunken crowd. We could not even speak to each other at the table it was so loud. When we complained the host said she was having a good time so what was the problem? This would have been ok for a rustic pub night but considering the fact that it advertises itself as a fine dining experience with the price to match (ie 50 euros per person set menu) it was pretty shocking that they didn't close the restaurant for the function, or even compensate the diners, let alone even apologise for the night club level noise. If we had known we would have gone somewhere else. All the other diners in the restaurant were equally shocked and disappointed not only by the noise but also the hosts' attitude and terrible service. It's a real shame as the food was good but we will never go again.

The best alternative to rejoice if you have no lust for all alcoholics at the main square :)

We discovered the land house rois by coincidence when we were once in the opposite,because we return every time we are in the opposite. the service is friendly, the ambiente nice and the eating excellent. not only tasteful, also for the eye a delight - no matter whether tafelspitz, filled lamb, zanderfilet, forelle, everything is prepared with a lot of love and you taste it. a warm thanks to the rois team

Very well eaten on the pony day. the kitchen would have been around 16 o'clock, but still it was after four, if we would like to have dessert. eating was excellent, honest and qualitatiw eaten.

The country house rois has a very good floor-to-ceiling kitchen. the selection is right. very positiw we noticed something other child card. not as usual the infallible fish sticks etc., but really great dishes, in a child-friendly portion. I also have to say that my daughter likes to feed the same as we get, just keep smaller. the service is very nice and accommodating. our visit to the country house rois the first but certainly not the last.
