Birraporetti's Friendswood

Not terrible. The food was temperature and not awfully fresh. Not very good service.

Our server saffron was great! he was very patient with us when we went from inside to outside. he was very attentive and sweet!

We chose Birraporetti 's for a mother's day dinner for several reasons: we wanted kitchen appealing to a variety of family members, reasonable prices that 't clinked for vacation, took reservations, was not too loud, and was easy to reach as older family members were slightly tired. Birraporetti fits all this. Our food was good, although they were from some things after the busy holiday business. I particularly like that we do not drive to restaurant row or near the shopping center to come here it's location near neighborhood is very convenient and parking is easy.

That was a great disappointment for Mother's Day. I have a reservation for 2 for Mother's Day Brunch as I have for the past few years, so we didn't have to wait for a table. When we arrived, we were told that our table was a high tip in the bar area, a small round table with very little space for two glasses and plates for a meal. With few options at this point elsewhere we stayed and were then told that we had to have the buffet. My mother had surgery last year and can only pay small amounts of food at any session so $26.95 for a buffet for her would be ridiculous. After a few words with what I think was a manager, they allowed us to order a meal. We were not appreciated by hostesses or by this manager as patrons. The only saving grace was our waiter. I won't come back, nor would I recommend that for everyone.

Outstanding food and great, friendly service. They definitely worked way into regular rotation.
