Bidrage med feedbackTourist trap! Here we met because of the “Felchen Fish” that is local in the region. I ordered it with a crispy skin it was greasy, and the actual fish meat was very dry.
Blick was nice, while the service was friendly, but kept on a short level. I was disappointed by the apfelstrudel with ice and saw how it tasted, how the industry prepares apfelstrudel.
We visited this place yesterday. we were very satisfied with the intention. we are served by a blonde girl who helped us choose to eat. she was very friendly and friendly, spoke three languages. I recommend trying the rocking fish, it was delicious. we paid a card. the recommendations for the disinfection of coronavirus are followed. the prices are normal for the promenade.
Came for a lunch snack, the menu was good, much to choose, nice eating and great price. can't complain.
We were with a group from Zürich on a Sunday outing to Friedrichshafen. After a visit to the Zeppelin museum it was time to wet our whistles and have a spot of lunch. The Stadtmauer is on the promenade of Lake Constance with a terrace...overlooking the lake. We sat at a terrace table and first ordered drinks. My. wife wanted some wine and on such a hot day, tap water to go with it.According to the snooty waitress the Stadtmauer kitchen does not have a tap delivering water snd the choice was bottled water still or fizzy. Hackles were already up at this point. Same waitress also got a cob on when we tried to sit closer to the others in our group. Apparently this is not a restaurant for socialising in. For food, my son and I ordered a pork streak with a cream sauce and spätzle on the side. My pork was overdone and dry on the outside. My son found the spätzle undercooked and doughy. I ordered a green salad iceberg lettuce in dressing from a bottle no imagination at all. My wife’s potato gratin looked on the dry side. With the drinks, the bill came to just short of €80. I did not leave a tip. The waitress was surly with us throughout the meal. Looking at the myriad negative reviews on Tripadvisor, it seems this restaurant only survives because of its location on the lake front on the hard earned cash of unsuspecting tourists. I would urge Tripadvisor readers to give this restaurant a wide berth.
