If you are looking for a cheap lunch or dinner that is delicious and filled, you might want to check this little kebab meal. Even though we do not speak French, the Lord who served us smiled in greeting, was patient while we ordered, with hand gestures to show on the menu on the wall, and he was efficient, fast and thorough to get our order together and payment. Good customer service. My husband ordered a sharp Döner kebab, while I tried the dark box I never had. Both were really good (my husband doesn't know I'm a bite of him). The Döner box was interesting, with a thick layer of Döner (vertical Rotisserie lamb, thin cut as on Gyros in the USA), then a bunch of fries, some salad and fresh tomato slices, all with a few types of secret sauce (a probably was a yogurt of varieties). My heart sank when I saw him put on the sauce, provided my frits were so cheeky when we came home. I was so wrong. The whole Shebang was just tasty. The price? 7.50 chf and 8 chf. Fribourg has few places where you can eat or eat at this price, especially with such large portions of meat. Can Dersim is quite small but still offers several tables inside if you want to immerse. I guess most people take their food to go like us. It is located directly on the main train in Fribourg, not far from Rue de Perolles from the main railway station (Fribourg Gare).
The kebab is large and at a reasonable price. the owners are really friendly, although they only speak a little English.

Good customer service. My husband ordered a spicy döner kebab while I tried the döner box, which I'd never had. Both were really good (my husband doesn't know I snuck a bite of his). The döner box was interesting, with a thick layer of döner (vertical rotisserie lamb, thinly sliced, like on gyros in the US), then a pile of french fries, some lettuce and fresh tomato slices, all topped off with a couple of kinds of mystery sauce (one was likely a yoghurt of sorts). My heart sank when I saw him putting the sauce on, already assuming my fries would be soggy by the time we got home. I was so wrong. The entire shebang was just plain tasty. The Dürüm was delicious, although way too spicy even though I asked for only a little bit of spicy sauce. So you may want to insist on only a tiny bit of spicy sauce unless of course you like it really spicy. The hamburger was less nice though since the meat was burnt. The service was super friendly and the prices very reasonable.
