The Annex Kitchen - Fresno

One if the best dining experiences my wife and I have ever enjoyed! We arrived around 4:45 and even without reservations, were promptly seated. The ambiance is casual, yet elegant. The food was prepared to our specifications and was a delight to our eyes and palate. The service was top notch. Plenty of waiters who were all on their toes. The best steak I have ever had and my wife's pasta dish was equally excelllent! The grilled asparagus was a wonderful surprise, as neither one of us had ever tasted anything like it. 5 stars is not a high enough rating for such a great food experience.

Absolutely perfect! This meal was divine from start to finish. We enjoyed the kale salad, broccolini, bread, bucatini, and a seasonal corn dish—all shared with a friend. We were still discussing it the next day! I might have misspelled a few of those dishes. Our waiter was attentive, and the ambiance matched the cuisine perfectly. I can't praise it enough!

The Annex Kitchen offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere. While it can get a bit noisy, this adds to the family-friendly vibe, and you can easily converse without needing to raise your voice. However, the true test of any restaurant lies in its food, and here, the Annex truly shines. The dishes are surprisingly delicious and exceed expectations. I've tried pizzas at nearly every restaurant that serves them, and while many are genuinely excellent, the pizza at the Annex left me astonished—it's possibly the best I've ever had, and I can't recall enjoying one more. The other pasta dishes are also outstanding. You might assume that the prices would be on the higher side, but to my surprise, they are quite reasonable. They do take reservations, and I highly recommend calling ahead to ensure a spot.

The service and food was five stars ! The cheese plate with prosciutto and dried chorizo was amazing! Pasta dish was magnificent! Wine pairing suggestions were perfect! Yes I highly recommend!

By far one of the best dining experiences in Fresno, CA! We got seated a little bit late due to other reservations. The staff was very extremely apologetic and we received a complimentary appetizer due to the wait. The appetizer was totally unexpected but added to the level of amazing, above and beyond service. The pace and level of service far exceeded my expectations. Anything I asked for was fulfilled in a timely and friemdly manner. The food was light, flavorful and filling. The wine was refreshing, sweet and exotic. I would highly recommend any person to go eat and drink at The Annex Kitchen. You not be disappiinted at all!!
