Bidrage med feedbackThe hotel was clean and simple. Our first room was near the exit and could hear the door slam and we asked for a new room and they gave us another one with no problem. The bad: the air conditioning is REALLY loud. So if you like loud white noise, then you're fine. And the lighting is horrible. I do not understand hotels that use blue daylight lights in the room. It looks terrible. My kid was not tired because the blue lights made it feel like daylight inside. I hope they swap out the lights for warmer lights.
Most horrible hotel I 've ever been in (even worse than a hotel in Vegas where people with no homes were sleeping next to the slot machines and bar). The smell of smoke and weed not only hits you as you walk into the lobby, but our room reeked! The beds are in the shape of a u they are so sunken in. Staying here because my mother has surgery across the street tomorrow morning. Forgot to mention the indoor pool shared a wall with our room and the kids are screaming. (I know I 'm a Karen, but you need to know this if you have surgery at 5 am. The sheets are scratchy and paper thin as well as the bedding. Thought because it is a Radisson Hotel it would be a nice place for her to relax since she is so stressed about her procedure. NEVER stay here. I didn 't even put it all on here. I 'm so disgusted. I don 't need thi right now. I needed a comfortable place for my mother to stay before a terrifying surgery. Aren 't hotels supposed to be a pace to relax? This is an actual nightmare. Don 't think front desk will help you. They barely acknowledge or look at you. Something is wrong here, I don 't see how they are still open. Update...since we are by the pool, elevator and ice machine, we didn 't get a wink of sleep. Left at 5 am for surgery and the front door was locked. No staff in sight. Dad had to pry the door open to get out! Came back at 6 to try and relax while waiting for mom 's surgery. Nope! TV blasting on the wall by my head, people coming in and out. Truly the worst hotel experience ever! Don 't come!!!! I asked the staff why we had to pry the door open to get out and she said they lock it after midnight. I asked her how do you get out in emergency and she said we have to find her to let us out! This is now a major safety issue.
DO NOT RECOMMEND! IF YOUR CAR IS BROKEN INTO, even if the hotel's camera has the footage, THEY WONT HELP! My truck was broken into today (2/20/24) and the front desk manager Fidencio Marquez did nothing but bullshit. STORY TIME: to start, this isn't my first stay here. I was here about a week ago for 3 days (I would rate them 3.5 stars based on that stay) came back for a 2 day stay. So, I woke up this morning (2/20/24) at 6am to head out and noticed my passenger window is busted while unlocking the driver side. After checking it out thoroughly, I came to the realization someone attempted to steal my truck. Part of my steering column and key hole has been tampered with. I immediately notify front desk asked to see the footage but was told I had to wait for the Manager Fidencio Marquez. So I left, and when I came back about 3hrs later he was here and I was finally able to speak with him. He told me he already reviewed the footage and didn't see nobody near my car or nothing. Can't tell me what happened. Very laughable. He said he seen my park around 4/5pm and when I went to grab something out my car at 8pm, but there's nothing till I get back to my truck at 6am the following morning (today). Sounds like a load of hot bullshit. I parked in that spot because it was in perfect view of the camera just in case anything happens now that something happens they can see everything except the break in. I shouldn't have to call the police, so they can review the footage, and to find out what happened who did it. BUT, to tell me you don't see nothing except me in the video is lies. SOMETHING HAPPENED. It wasn't just nothing.
I found a cockroach in the hallway. They need pest control. And probably need to replace their carpet and curtains.
The country inn provided friendly service, a clean property, yummy breakfast, and a few amenities like indoor pool/jacuzzi and small gym. After researching several hotels in the fresno area and consistently reading terrible reviews, we took our chance with Country Inn after reading the positive reviews in the recent months. After staying with them on November 21st, I can say their service is doing well. The hotel is right next to the 44 Highway so you can hear some of the highway noise, but it wasn't too disruptive. We booked a queen size bed and the room was small, but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. As a frequent traveler, I can recommend this hotel for a clean and restful night stay.
