The Old Civic - FRENCHS FOREST

I recently went to this restaurant for breakfast and was disappointed by the cleanliness of the tables and floor. The tables were dirty and the floor looked like it had not been swept or cleaned in a while. I noticed that the bottom of my table had accumulated dirt over time. I brought these issues to the attention of the waiter, but no action was taken. Upon leaving, no one attempted to communicate with me and I observed the staff laughing. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

Despite its location, it offers both indoor seating and a pleasant covered al fresco area that is suitable for most weather conditions. The menu and pricing are average, but the coffee is excellent and the bacon used in the bacon and egg rolls is exceptional - slightly saltier than usual but with a delicious smoky flavor. The service is quick, pleasant, and attentive. Overall, The Old Civic is a decent option with nothing particularly outstanding, but it is in line with similar cafes in the vicinity.

The coffee is good, the staff is friendly, and the special of a Bacon and Egg Roll with a large coffee for $10 is an excellent and tasty deal. It's great value for money.

I come here often but have never done a review. The coffee is excellent and service prompt and staff friendly. The bacon egg rolls are to die for and very generous serving of bacon eggs!

Cant remember the last time I had a more delicious Bacon Egg Roll. I requested a crispy bead roll, and cheese, and I loved every mouthful. Im not a big eater, but devoured my Roll, each time I brought one..... Salivating now as I talk
