Bidrage med feedbackIn store pick up of online order, busy Saturday night. 1. The KFC online ordering website doesn 't understand you can order on one device and pickup when you have another. The app is pathetic, so I use my home computer to order. But the email I get on my phone doesn 't allow me to click I 'm in the store . This is KFC HQ issue, not KFC Frenchs Forest, but is sets the scene for poor performance to follow. 1. Service, what service? You are waiting in a queue of customers in the store and the person at the front of the line is getting frustrated. He starts saying things like Are you there? . They are there, right in front of him but with their back to him filling boxes for the long queue of drive through, but ignoring the order counter. Eventually one of the staff interrupts their work (don 't worry, it 's only a customer) to service the counter and takes their order. Then, instead of serving the next customer in the queue, goes back to filling the boxes until the next customer is waving their arms around in frustration. They must be trained to only service one counter customer every three minutes or so. KFC Frenchs Forest need to give in store customers attention at the counter. People don 't mind waiting for an order to be filled, but get frustrated when you won 't even take their order, with staff right there with their back to you ignoring you. Insulting to the customer. 2. There is a 30% chance there will be an item missing. I 've been living in the Forest for 30 years and KFC Frenchs Forest has never been this bad. In the last 5 years, I 've ordered online for pickup probably once every three months (I know, my first mistake), and at least one item is missing from pickup in about a third of my orders. Perhaps one of the large chips, perhaps the chicken burger, perhaps (tonight) the six pieces of original chicken. I have a large order for a family plus left overs, but you can never trust KFC Frenchs Forest to put everything in the bag. One bag, absolutely overloaded, so difficult to check in the store (or worse, in your car). When I went back to the store to pickup the missing item after ringing the store, no one knew anything about it. The missing items were not there waiting for me I had to wait as if I 'd never rung them. KFC Frenchs Forest needs to instruct their staff to explicitly check what is in the paper bag against the order. Strangely, staff appear to spend time filling one box with chicken, and then taking it out and putting it into another box. no wonder they are making mistakes. I 've noticed they never repeat your order back to you when you pick it up which would be good practice. 3. The KFC is good, not too oily but exactly what KFC should be. But by this time my evening is ruined (and the chicken from my first trip out is cold) so I can 't really enjoy it.
Like many KFC locations, this one also struggles with staff who frequently do not read orders correctly. I've lost track of how many times they have missed something during the drive-thru process. They consistently forget essentials such as sauces, provide the wrong size drink, and fail to give you a napkin when you have ordered coleslaw or potato gravy.
I had a wonderful experience at the drive-thru of this restaurant. The coleslaw was always fresh, which is not always the case with most KFC locations. They also have indoor seating available. There is plenty of parking space. The staff are mostly young people, but I have no complaints about their service.
I recently tried the new boneless box (3 pieces) at the restaurant and I was very disappointed. Each piece was smaller than 3x3cm, which felt like a total ripoff. I will not be returning to this restaurant.
As with most KFC's this one suffers from the usual problem of staff not reading the orders properly. I have lost count of the number of times the miss something when using the 'drive through'. Constantly forget the basics like: forget sauces, wrong size drink, don't give you serviette when you have ordered coleslaw or potatoe & gravy.
