Hahn-a-lula Resort - Fremont

The quality of this restaurant has definitely declined compared to a few years ago. The chicken was dry, the ham was fatty, and the banana cream pie had no real bananas—it was disappointing. Additionally, if someone in your group doesn't confirm their attendance, it seems to cause issues when the count is adjusted. This has been a problem for years. The selection of food was limited, and I don’t think it’s worth $18 per person. I'm not a big eater (I weigh 140 lbs), and I still left feeling hungry.

There were four of us dining together, and we ordered the Saturday evening special featuring tenderloin and shrimp. Unfortunately, the shrimp were overcooked, and the steaks lacked flavor and were improperly prepared. Although the dining room is quite spacious, they seated five tables too close to one another, with only about three feet separating us from the other tables. The salad dressings tasted overwhelmingly like vinegar. Additionally, there was an intimidating and rather rude elderly woman who kept hovering over us, making us feel uncomfortable. She seemed defensive and out of place. I would not recommend this restaurant at all.

Visited here on Friday and had the best tenderloin steak it was made to perfection and couldn't believe the price just 18.00 for a 10oz cut. The soup and salad bar had a great selection of items and our waitress did a great job and was very attentive to us. We will definitely be back soon

Food is excellent and significant portions compared to Illinois.Prices are also reasonable, I would say near the river and campgrounds in the restaurant's back.

Absolutely wonderful place! Food was outstanding. My steak was cooked to a perfect medium, twice baked potatoes was heavenly. My dad got the prime rib, he said it was the best prime rib he ever had. Shoutout to Stormy for amazing service! ? will definitely be back.
