Bidrage med feedback4 of us visited the small and cosy café on Tuesday 12th Jan 2016. My brother lives in Baldivis and recommended it to us. His recommendation was good enough for me. There is a choice of full English, Scottish, Irish, Aussie or Kiwi breakfasts. We had the full English. The bacon and sausage and beans were as good as you'll find in the UK. Tinned tomatoes too I'm pleased to say instead of half a normal tomato. We had a lovely cup of Tetley tea to wash it all down. We were offered a tea pot top up which was nice. I'd recommend The Frying Scotsman to anyone wanting a proper breakfast that will last you most of the day! Thanks ladies!
Wow, from a Scottish lad! We don't often get home sick but today after travelling halfway across this massive country I wanted a full Scottish breakfast. Matter trawling the net I came across this little place. Unreal! The square sausage was spot on as was the black pudding and haggis, the presentation of my breakfast was a sight that put me right back to the rain sodden streets of Glasgow, this was a Scottish breakfast as it should be, a good cuppa and friendly crack. Elaine the owner is a wealth of local knowledge as well as being a welcome export of Stirling. Thanks Lassie's.
When I went here, I wasn't a zomato reviewer, but I'll review it right now based on what i got. I loved my experience there I tried an the irish breakfast one but added haggis and other stuff. It was amaze-balls. I loved the haggis (was my first time trying it) and the square sausage was nice too. Plus it got me hooked on irn bru. I have trouble pronouncing it properly though. Only thing i wish was added to the menu would be a massive plate of cooked cabbage. Throw butter, salt and pepper in and it'd be magic. Seriously, think about adding it. PLEASE. This page needs to be updated though because their menu looks different on here then it did when I went there.
For a breakfast with a twist this place is great. There are different types of meals for everyone. The English Breakfasts with fried toast, a Scottish breakfast, if your Scottish (or a sensitive game) and the good Ol ozzie favorites. The reason why this did not give a higher score is because of the coffee. I have loved an espresso, but everything they had had drop / piston coffee.
Highly recommend the Kiwi Breakfast, quick service & delicious food. If there was a knock on the shop, I'd say they need a bigger shop. Worth a look
