Osteria al Ponte Vecchio - Freising

I was for a night in the isar hotel and found this great restaurant next to him. it is beautiful, well prepared, decorated and it has a really attractive menu. all about it is charming and warm. tables incredibly well furnished, tastefully decorated, and they. have great advantage of the building structure to combine an Italian restaurant to an old Bavarian building that is clever when they are in bayern! but of course, what is most important is the good service and amazing eating! including the quality of the products. the olive oil, the broth and the wine brought me to italy, for the relaxing moment.

Although the place looked great, it could not impress eating. thier pasta was simply edible to write nothing at home. we decided to give them another shot with dessert and were not impressed. also here, no bad experience, but certainly not with. other Italian restaurants in the opposite.

After reading the previous review of the osteria al ponte vecchio, I thought that I had to correct some of the mistakes. ok the restaurant still has the Bavarian deck, but 'they are in bayern' that 's about the toilet is down, how is...quite a few restaurants so no real thing there. the environment and the ambiente are really relaxing and I would say quite luxurious, very good sitting and excellent table settings so they feel appreciated. the greeting I had in the last 4 times in the last 5 weeks) was good and warming exactly what they want. the first visit I tried pizza, but asked for a change without asking and that was very good. the second visit I made about the fresh fish, so I took this recommendation as in the picture, I asked about the chianti before the decision on the fish. the fish was completely served and dressed at the table what was good and must say that was really good quality. the white wine recommended really well with the fish and I was very satisfied with everything. tonight we shared the pure pizza bread with rosemary and olive oil and it was beautiful and crispy, lite and tasteful. then the Italian classic lasagne forno, who was a good portion and perfectly cooked. so overall, good comfortable luxurious setting it very nice and clean) very good attentive staff always helpful and most important of all the great eating that they do not let down. the owner is close and very nice. to be honest, if this place had been a star as in the previous review, I would have visited only one not 4 times, and I will be back next week if I visited libsing for 3 nights. try it for yourself and see them, I don't think they will be disappointed.

Having just read the previous review of the OSTERIA al Ponte Vecchio I thought I needed to correct some of the falsehoods written. Ok the restaurant still has the Bavarian ceiling but 'you are in Bavaria' that's about it, the toilet is downstairs as is quite a few restaurants so no real issue there. The setting and ambiance are really relaxing and I would say quite luxurious, very good quality seating and excellent table settings making you feel appreciated.The welcome I have had the last 4 times (in the last 5 weeks) has been good and warming just what you want.The first visit I tried pizza but asked for it to be changed without question and this was very good. The second visit I was told about the fresh fish available so I took this recommendation ( as in the picture, I asked for the Chianti before deciding on the fish).The fish was was served whole and dressed at the table which was good and have to say this was really good quality. The white wine recommended whet really well with the fish and I was very satisfied with everything.Tonight we shared the plain pizza bread with rosemary and olive oil and it was nice and crunchy, lite and tasteful. Following this the Italian classic Lasagne forno which was a good sized portion and cooked perfectly.So overall, good comfortable luxurious setting (it very nice and clean) very good attentive staff always helpful and most important of all great food that will not let you down. The owner is approachable and very nice.To be honest if this place was a one star as in the previous review I would have visited only one not 4 times, and I will be back next week when I visit Freising for 3 nights.Try it for yourself and see, I don't think you will be disappointed .
