Freinsheimer Hof

Regional dishes pleasantly refreshed, handmade neat. The wine map offers a large cross-section through the entire Palatinate, both regionally and at the level of the acquaintance of wineries.

We were a weekend in Freinsheim and originally wanted to go to a restaurant in the main street, but unfortunately there was no more space free, but the two nice gastronomy and the sweet little sohn) recommended us the freensheimer hof with the favorite greetings of herbal jacobs and a dog with names! taxi. we wanted to after this and were really surprised with very fine eating and really nice service. we like to come back. As always large surprise, excellent, perfectly cooked saibling on leinncurry, to add crisp sauce, super essence from the tomate etc. service simple, authentic, super.

I'm sending ahead, I'm hobby cook and I'm often wondering about the profis. my 5 surprise menu has disappointed me. start a menu series with matjes (m.E not fresh) was a real surprise and next door! the aubergine supplement was badly tasted! the suppe was, with the exception of the tasteful tuned to. in the main menu the polnta was really not good (to soft/fade.), which was dessert in order. my wife had the 3 menu. two menu levels were not balanced by quantity/type. it has for the same price of the 5 menu 's. for 55, € /person! my expectations are significantly higher! an alternative menu for selection is essential! In summary: we have gone disappointed over the bed and therefore unfortunately cannot recommend!

Very nice 6-speed surprise menu with wine tasting in the friendly circle. the very friendly and competent service had the almost complete restaurant overall well in the handle. at one or two walks the weeping gadget at our table was a little back, which was still in a reasonable frame and was very charmingly compensated. a very successful evening. we like to come back.
