Madkap Restaurant Bar - Freeport

Beautiful atmosphere, decent drinks prices. Eating is a little expensive. Beautiful amenities. Must be better advertised and menu prices revised.

When I went to Madkap, I had an amazing experience, the food was great, the service was punctual and her staff is very friendly.

My husband, my son and I went to dinner tonight. I will start with the absolutely wonderful server. She so warmly welcomed us. I felt she was welcome at home. She recommended drinks and food. I had pan-red snapper that was perfect w/ big seasoning. My hubby ordered a Chilean cheeseburger. He is picky how beef is cooked and he said that the cook. Naked! We'll be back on Grand Bahama Island next time. Love. Here.

My vacation in Freeport in Grand Bahama Island was the best vacation I ever had! I was mistakenly stumbled over the sea breeze villa and resort looking for a tropical drink and good food. To my surprise there was a restaurant on the estate called MadKap Restaurant and Bar! I was thrilled with the menu, the selection of drinks and the ever-preparing staff. Not only did I go back to lunch or dinner every day, but I also changed my sleep preparations at Seabreeze Resort in the middle of the week during my visit. If you find a resort that feels like family and home, it is a win-win situation. The staff was welcoming, the beautiful pool is perfectly located in the middle of the property and if it gets cool at night, you can jump into the hot tub for some relaxation. With the good vibes, the music goes, drinks flow and the contagious laughter it was a no-brainer to write this review. I strongly recommend visiting this resort and MadKap restaurant when you are looking for an authentic Bahamian stay and culinary experience! Everything from the Lobster, Shrimp, Steak and Grilled Chicken Salad was delicious and the portions were huge. Specially call to the Paris and Robyn cooks, the endless tasteful kitchen provided day by day. The bartenders Nyshanti and Jazzy know how to pour the drinks and let the vibes flow! Everyone who works on the property was so pleasant to speak and they certainly made a lasting impression and put a lasting smile on my face. I'm already ahead and looking forward to my next visit. You will not be disappointed to check this place! Tell them that Lexi sent you, and they'll take care of you well while making lasting memories.

Food was pretty good and the atmosphere was immaculate. The music was quite loud though and the prices were very high compared to the portion size. $26 for 6 shrimp and a salad! Service was pretty slow as well? but that?s island time for ya. Seasoning level was a bit off too, my mom?s fish sandwich had almost 0 seasoning and my salmon, while it was good, had me finishing an entire bottle of water by the time I was done eating it.
