Taste The Cakes And Ice Cream

This place is awesome! The staff is always friendly and the owner even took my young boys into the office on National Ice Cream day and gave them balloons. They have everything you can think of from ice cream to cupcakes and even a coffee bar!

Great local ice cream shop in Freeehold. They make all kinds of custom cakes and treats. The ice cream is fantastic and the staff is very friendly. Great place to take your kids and/or family for a treat.

I reached out to Taste the Cakes and Ice Cream on my hunt for a gluten free ice cream cake. My best friend is GF and she misses a 'real ' ice cream cake sorely! That is, WITH the crunchies. I called to inquire and was greeted by Amy. I explained my predicament and what I was hoping to find. She told me to give her a few and she would look into it and call me back. I was thrilled! A couple hours later I had a voicemail from Amy saying she tracked down GF Oreos and was going to crush them to put inside their traditional ice cream cake. I was beyond impressed by this level of service...and was so excited for this cake! She really went above and beyond to help me out for my friend 's birthday. My friend was so WOWED that I managed to find this cake and, honestly, it was so delicious! It practically tasted like the real thing and everyone was quite impressed with the quality of the ice cream. I am a customer for life and would highly recommend this place!!

Amy and her team made the most amazing cupcakes for my son's dinosaur themed birthday party. They created bright colors that were incorporated in both the icing and the chocolate dinosaur toppers. The cupcakes looked like something out of a magazine! They matched the theme so well! Even more importantly, they were delicious! The cake was delicious, the icing was delicious, and the chocolate shaped dinosaurs toppers were delicious. I'm glad I ordered more than I needed because even the adults were helping themselves to seconds.

Taste the cakes is an awesome bakery with exceptional customer service ! I had the privilege of having my baby shower cake made by taste the cakes, absolutely wonderful with the cutest unicorn decoration. I would trust them to make any cake and i highly recommend to anyone : Absolutely delicious and on point! Cake was not too sweet and the frosting (Swiss meringue buttercream was DELICIOUS , must try !!
