Don Pepe Peruvian - Freehold

I wish I could give this place zero stars. They can't follow simple instructions.

*1/5 stars* My visit to Pepe Peruvian Restaurant in Freehold was deeply disappointing due to their refusal to allow my service dog inside. Despite clarifying the legal requirements and showing proper identification, the staff maintained their stance that dogs were not permitted. This is not only discriminatory; it is also against the law. While the food and ambiance might be enjoyable, their failure to understand and accommodate those with disabilities is unacceptable. I sincerely hope they take measures to educate their staff and become more welcoming in the future. Until they do, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone who relies on service animals.

The food they serve doesn't match what you see in the photos.

The are 2 stories I'd like to write. I'm 14 and had food from here since I've been staying with my dad every summer. My dad, my sister, and I has good times here. Back then however, the food was horrible! Food tasted like plastic and sometimes it would even be cold. I even saw reviews that said there were bugs on it. Thankfully we never found bugs. Now is a different story, and the food is great! Honestly, this place has great serving of great food. Unfortunately until next summer, I can't eat here since I have to go back where I love. I will miss this place.

I love Peruvian food, this restaurant never lets me down I had lomo saltado but anything you order is good
