Asu Mare - Freehold

Asu Mare is a hidden treasure in Freehold! The Peruvian food is absolutely delicious and authentically prepared. We tried the pollo causa, yuca frita, pollo saltado, and arroz chaufa, and everything was fantastic! The portions are generous, and you can truly taste the quality. You won't be disappointed!

This restaurant is a hidden gem; if you drive too quickly, you might pass it by. The ceviche was incredibly delicious—perfectly lemony and spicy, just the way I love it! I also tried Chicha for the first time, a homemade drink, and it was quite good. I will definitely return for more ceviche in the future and to explore other dishes on the menu.

This is a wonderful restaurant with a great selection of dishes. The portion sizes were generous, and the food was full of flavor. We truly enjoyed our experience here.

Charming little spot with decent food, though it could use a bit more flavor. The service was quick and the waitress was very friendly.

The food here is excellent. I tried the tallarines saltados and the arroz chaufa, and both were delicious. I'm not particularly fond of papa a la huancaina, but the portions are generous. You could easily share a meal with one or two other people.
