Little Peanut Cafe - Fredonia

This is our favorite spot! Everything I've tried has been amazing but my personal favorite is the shrimp taco. The other reviewer mentioned a long wait but I think it's worth it. Payo does all the cooking himself and it's fresh, delicious food. My husband likes to catch the Wednesday special...pork chops. The fish on Friday is also outstanding. Come check it out...get a taste of not only some killer hot sauce but small town atmosphere.

Struggling between 3 4 stars because of the food itself and the wait. This small cafe is right next the Peanut Factory in a small shed-like building. Inside there's about 6-8 tables. We were able to walk in and sit right down. We were placing a to-go order for 10 breakfast tacos. We were greeted and given menus not long after we sat down. However, after that we waited at least 45 minutes (possibly longer, that was just the time from when I first checked my phone) While I'm all about fresh food I feel like the wait was a bit ridiculous seeing as how there was one gentleman already finishing up his plate as we arrived and another couple who had already ordered. I'm not sure if it's always like this or if it was a staffing issue. Now the tacos themselves were delicious and HUGE! You really only need one as stuffed as they are. Potatoes were fully cooked, the bacon wasn't over cooked and nothing was overly greasy. The salsa itself had good flavor but wasn't too spicy.

All I can say is their food makes me feel like dancing in my chair like a three-year-old! Mmmmmm, delicious!

Absolutely fantastic Tex-Mex! Located in a small town in the middle of nowhere, this little restaurant serves delicious enchiladas and tacos. Although I likely won’t return to this town again, I thoroughly enjoyed the 30 minutes I spent here. Hats off to little Peanut!
