Harvey's - Fredericton

Didn't order and would never order until changes occur.Waited in second position and first position for about 10 minutes, enough time to watch the guy who does the BBQ'ing and works the cash. This man didn't wear any gloves and there was no visible evidence that he watched his hands at any point between touching the raw meat, the cooked and bun placed burgers and the cash register. I walked away without ordering and went to KFC. Harvey's is great restaurant, but this dude needs training in food preparation and cleanliness. This is unacceptable.

I typically don’t give five stars to fast food restaurants, but I got a fresh burger made the way I asked, and the fellow at the service window was super friendly and thoughtful. What I was quite pleased about from the man at the window was he was very concerned about making sure I had napkins, and that my order was satisfactory. He seemed rather new, but it was refreshing to be thought about as a special customer. I decided to eat my burger and onion rings in the parking lot and it was very tasty. I didn’t eat the whole thing, but every bite that I had was worthy of another visit at this location.

Fries were set up on counter with drinks about 10 minutes before the burgers were ready. It took quite awhile for burgers to be done. Then when we went to eat them, they were burnt. Only 2 kinds of salad dressing available. Place was filthy! Packages of ketchup were all sticky! Gross! Won’t be returning!

This was a terrible experience and I'd never recommend stopping here. 2/3 of the tables were dirty as was the floor, so we should have known walking in. We watched the person making the burgers repeatedly scratch his sweaty neck with the gloves on his hands then continue to touch the food. We complained, and got a refund, as he continued to do this even as we were complaining. Never stopping again, can't believe how filthy this place is.

Harvey's is one of our favorite restaurants. While the food is always hot and delicious, this restaurant has a problem with cleanliness. I'm sure this is temporary, hopefully.
