Deluxe French Fries - Fredericton

I was always a big fan of Fish and Chips. It's definitely my go to meal when it comes to quick, familiar diner food. It really seemed like an obvious choice to visit Deluxe French Fries. I was thoroughly disappointed, unfortunately. The food was less then great, to say the least. My grandmother and I both ordered a large order of fish and chips, which, as I mentioned before, has never let me down. Not until now. The fish was incredibly greasy, to the point when the batter practically slid off the fish. The fries were cold and mushy, and the staff was inattentive and boarderline rude. I don't believe I'll be visiting any time soon.

Staff was really nice and friendly, but they all seemed like they just weren't worried about giving fast service. We waited too long for what seemed like a breakfast that could have been made very fast. I wasn't feeling well and the long wait was really crappy. Decor inside doesn't look like it's taken care of too well. Was just ok.

I've always loved this place and it will always have a special place in my heart for my hangover cures.Nothing has changed about these restaurants over the last 30 years and thats just the way I like it; get off my lawn!If you are craving some good ol grease then look no further than Deluxe!

Always get a grease film coating in your mouth, just not my type of meal.

Not What I Expected . Old and Plain Dining Area . Order at the counter and wait for your food . O.K. with That . Other reviews read " Prices can't be Beat " & " Excellent Fish and Chips " Perhaps I am just biased but where is " Long John Silvers " . I felt the Fish and Chips Meal was " Way Over Priced " for just 2 pieces of Fish covered with French Fries . Fish was very Greasy and Bland . In My Opinion " Not Good At All " . If anybody has Feedback " Where does one get some Good Fish & Chips in Canada ?
