Tea Tyme - Fredericksburg

This family-owned restaurant is fantastic. We've ordered takeout from them several times for their tea. I made reservations for my mother's birthday to host a royal tea party, and we had a wonderful time. The staff was respectful and catered to each of us delightfully. There were so many options, great accommodations, and generous portions. I highly recommend this place. The owner and staff are very welcoming!

Upon entering the restaurant, I was struck by a strong unpleasant odor and a very humid atmosphere. While the bubble tea was enjoyable, the overwhelming smell made me feel quite nauseous. I believe that investing in solutions to address the odor could greatly enhance their business. It's difficult to put into words, but the scent reminded me of a mix between fishy water and damp carpet.

I visited this restaurant with my friends last week and had a great experience! The service was excellent, and the place wasn't too busy. However, since there were eight of us, it took about 10 minutes for our drinks to arrive. It was my first time trying boba, so I went for something simple: vanilla milk tea with mango popping pearls. It was delicious and full of flavor! The staff was really nice and helpful as well. I’ll definitely be coming back!

The quality of tea and variety of options were great. I ordered the black milk tea with boba and was really pleased with the taste. The only issue I experienced was the wait. The shop is small and was staffed by two kind individuals who were workingextra hard to take care of 10+ orders midday Saturday, but the 15 minute wait was worth it. I look forward to trying more in thefuture!

Pretty pricey for the sizes you get. Got a strawberry milk tea and it wasn't very sweet and tasted watered down compared to most places I've been to. Still overall not bad, was fast and cute. The size pictured was about 6 bucks.
