I really appreciate that they are dog-friendly on their patio. Each time I’ve visited, they've seated us promptly (once, they even accommodated us an hour early because we were really hungry). The freshly baked bread is fantastic. Without fail, I always order the duck schnitzel with a fried duck egg on top, and it’s incredible. Every element on the plate is thoughtfully arranged, and the variety of flavors and textures come together to create a truly delicious meal. I’ve also tried the German sausages once; they were tasty too, but the flavor was a bit more one-dimensional compared to the duck schnitzel. I highly recommend checking this place out!

We visited for Sunday brunch and, although we didn't have reservations, we managed to get a walk-in table for two right when the restaurant opened at 11 am. The restaurant features a charming enclosed patio that leads into the indoor dining area. Both spaces are cozy yet welcoming, with around eight tables inside and a five-seat bar. The coffee was enjoyable, and the Bloody Mary had a lovely spice that really warmed me up. We ordered Otto's Reuben and the Zitronenwaffel, and both dishes were excellent! The portion sizes were generous, and everything was beautifully plated. I particularly loved the fresh fruit and mint on the lemon ricotta waffle. My husband let me try a bite of his Reuben, and now I know what I’ll be ordering next time! When we return to Fredericksburg, I will definitely stop by to try dinner.

I stopped by with some friends looking for a place to eat. We prefer high-top bars rather than sitting at a table. Unfortunately, the staff was quite irritated and insisted that we sit at a table instead. It felt a bit ridiculous as they kept trying to make us move from our preferred spot. They mentioned that the boss would check the cameras and see that we were uncomfortable, which we assured them we were not. In fact, we even offered to sign a waiver to absolve them of any responsibility, but they refused, saying the boss would be upset with them. We went back and forth on this until the other patrons at the bar became uncomfortable and left. I still don’t understand the situation; it left a negative impression that hasn’t faded even after a week.
