Mexico Palace - Fredericksburg

Food was mediocre at best; the rice had no taste, the chicken chorizo tacos were just that, no extra seasoning or cilantro or anything. I had to get the hot and mild tomitilla to add flavor to it all. The service was great, though, with very friendly staff.

I 've visited Mexico Palace 3 times in the past week.The 1st time was excellent! 5 star food; however, after that, the simple dishes I ordered were sub-par at best.I thought my 2nd visit during Cinco de Mayo was going to be a treat, but instead, I got slow service a 30 minute wait) for chicken quesadillas and 2 beers.I decided to take a date and give it one more try on a low business Tuesday night. I ordered a spinach and cheese dip and my date ordered shrimp chimichangas. Again, MP let me down. The dishes were horrible. I told the waitress my appetizer was bad, and she didn 't even attempt to compensate!I had to apologize several times to my date who ate less than a fourth of her food.After the stellar 1st meal, MP and their kitchen failed me twice in a row! It 's unfortunate that the food isn 't consistent. SMH ???

Have been several times. Recently updated the seats. The food was good, came out quickly, and was hot. We have had a rang from burritos, taco, fajitas, ext. Food and flavor have been consistent. That being said, our preferred server, Lulu, makes the dining experience. We will continue to have meals at this establishment.

Waitress had no idea what was on the menu. She was very nice but had no knowledge of anything much. Food was cold, plate was cold and couldn't locate her to let her know, so I ate half. Had to locate her for my ticket, had to locate her again for my credit card, which took about 15 minutes. Very disappointed because I saw good reviews, so I wanted to try. Never again. Oh, also, the table beside waited 15 minutes before she figured out she forgot them. Train you staff.

The grilled chicken quesadillas we got were gross! The chicken was shredded, had peppers in it. We were going to tell the Mgr but he wasn't available
