K-bob's Steakhouse Fredericksburg

My husband and I ate there tonight for our 13 year wedding anniversary. We thought it would be a great place seeing that it was packed 2 days prior. We are from the Houston area so we know what steak should be like. First off the hostess didn't greet us. She just looked our way, and put up 2 fingers.....we just said yes, and she walked us to our table. Once there the waitress came up. I can't tell you her name, because she wasn't wearing a name tag and she never introduced herself. She took our drink order and quickly took off. She then returned with our drinks, and was gone again. My husband had to call for her in order for us to order an appetizer. We got our appetizer, and she was gone again. We finally got to order our dinner which he ordered a steak medium, and I got medium well. I also ordered the salad bar. Well she didn't tell me where to get a plate for the salad bar. When only found out when someone else ordered it too. We finally received our food, and both steaks were well done. We tell the waitress, and her response to my husband was that he ordered the steak medium well. He said no I ordered medium and my wife ordered medium well. She walks away. She cones back laughing saying oh yes you did order medium. She was like what do you want me to do.

This is a lovely restaurant with food that is freshly prepared and cooked to perfection. Everything was made from scratch, including the chips, queso, and spinach dip. The service was excellent, and overall, my experience was just perfect. I left feeling truly impressed and satisfied.

I had an excellent sirloin steak topped with onions, mushrooms, and cheese! I also added some grilled shrimp and steamed broccoli, which were delightful. The "Salad Wagon" offered a variety of delicious salad options to choose from. The service was great as well!

Well we were going through Fredericksburg and thought most were full and never noticed this place before and it looked good so we stopped. The service with Tara was great and the food was amazing. My husband had the sirloin and I had the pot roast with the broccoli rice casserole. OMG!! It was sooo good. I forgot to take a picture. The salad bar is great and the atmosphere is wonderful. Do yourself a favor and stop in this amazing place for a bite. So much to try. Not one bad thing to mention except I overeat and was walking out with such a full belly. Great place and we will be back!!

Waiter was great, chicken Fried chicken didn't have the best of flavor. The sweet potato that came with it was over cooked. I ordered the sweet potato with my chicken Fried chicken but had the regular potato with it. My wife who ordered the steak got my sweet potatoe. Had to swap them.
