Firebirds Wood Fired Grill

We came to birthday dinner on a Wednesday, not during a holiday period. the five of us fit well into a big stand back. everyone enjoyed eating. we had steaks on different levels of production (excellent garlic butter) and one of us had a steak sandwich with some special requests that were carried out without problems. it is lunch/weekday, everyone also enjoyed mock-tails. the ananas was very nice. service was excellent. 2 of our diners were taub/ASL users and another server who knew some asl fell by to say hi. a good place to celebrate. we're coming back for another one.

Everything was awesome! My wife and I celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary and we decided to spend it at Firebirds, Fredericksburg. Our server was outstanding courteous, professional, and attentive.

Totally disappointed. Reserved at this restaurant based on reviews, which couldn’t have been for the same restaurant. The service was excellent, despite staffing issues. It seems the staff is unhappy and it transmits to customers right away. The restaurant was not as clean as we’d like, and was very noisy despite being far from full. The food was simply terrible and overpriced. My husband ordered cajun ribeye, medium rare. A skinny overspiced piece of meat that was unevenly cooked and had an unfresh off taste was served after nearly a 1-hour wait! My Colorado salad had grilled chicken that was inedible it was so dry and overcooked. The salad and dressing were fine. We do not mind paying for good quality food, but we had better at the local Texas Roadhouse and highly recommend you go there instead.
