Backwoods Bbq - Fredericksburg

I thought Coopers was the best. They beat Coopers. Had the bovine breeze and it was brilliant (the “healthy” version, not marbelized). Had a lot of taste. The green beans were also great.

When your in Fredericksburg, Backwoods is definitely the place to eat at! The food is amazing, the owners are wonderful people, who always greet you with a friendly smile, and sometimes a HUG! Whether your looking for a luxury spot or picnic outdoors, check it out! You will NOT be disappointed. And for those who want great BBQ in Mason, try our own Cooper's BBQ it is the place to go!

BBQ so good it’ll make you wanna slap yo momma! I had the 2 meat plate (Brisket/Pork Ribs) with potatoe salad and mac and cheese. The meat was finger licking good and the sides were delicious. Staff was super friendly!! 10/10!!

This restaurant had amazing BBQ. All of the meat and sides were delicious as well as the beans. The banana pudding was great as well. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that travels to Fredericksburg.
