My husband and I loved our lunch here recently. We sat outside and received very fast and friendly service, even though the indoor section was full. We enjoyed great beers on tap and the daily special: salmon with a delicious creamy sauce, vegetable mix (artichoke, red pepper, mushrooms, walnuts) and spinach noodles. Also had an outstanding potato/fennel soup. We'll be back soon!

I used to live in Frederick and this was always my favorite place. It's a lovely restaurant with a calm and friendly ambiance. I have had many delicious meals here alone and with friends over the years. Always delicious and delightful and terrific prices for the food which is always fresh and seasonal. My favorite is the curry stir fry. Desserts are out of this world too! Can't say enough great things about The Orchard. Just get up and go! ??

A great eclectic menu with from scratch food. I had the special of salmon luciana with spinach fettuccine. The salmon had a nice char from grill but was still flaky. The fettuccine was perfectly cooked. The sauce with fennel, walnuts, and artichoke was just the right creaminess and a perfect accompaniment. Had the bread pudding for dessert and it was perfect. They also had a great local beer selection on tap.

Best chicken sandwich I think I have ever had. Not cheap, but a great value for the money. Didn't want to order dessert, but the sandwich was great I had to make room. I had an exquisite slightly warmed pecan bar with caramel sauce. The whipped cream was perfect accompaniment. It was worth the calories.
