Big Chef Chinese Kitchen - Frederick

Ordered the lunch special of sa cha shrimp shrimp and garlic... I always make a habit of sampling the egg roll first, it was everything you expect from a takeout place fresh hot crispy and flaky. Next try the entree Sa Cha shrimp, the vegetables were nice and crispy which is a rarity in this day. The rice was prepared averagely. The Sa Cha sauce was extremely underwhelming, it has a watered down taste and even though it's advertised as a spicy dish it was barely anyspice to be tasted. The shrimp was also disappointing as it was a mix of mushy and crisp. I abhor when shrimp is not crisp... The garlic shrimp was exactly the same crispy fish eat veggies but a mix of mush and somewhat firm shrimp... Foodwas over all fresh and hot service was fantastic, but overall trip left me wanting more.

This chinese restaurant is consistently great they only offer take out but it is worth it best chinese in frederick.

Shrimp fried rice is good!! Just like the last review said, so far so good !

My favorite Chinese food place of all time!!!! So many options and all of it so delicious! Duplings are a classic favorite along with the fried rice : pupu platter is yummy and I'm excited to continue trying new yummy things! The staff is super nice and happy to serve :

Big Chef restaurant is our go-to for Chinese takeout! The food is consistently excellent! You can tell they really care about what they serve their customers, because every single dish we have ordered from Big Chef has been so good. We highly recommend them!!
