I unfortunately can't remember the name of the female guide, but she was outstanding. We had lunch afterward in the museum café, where the food and service were excellent. All the staff were friendly and seemed genuinely happy to be working there. It was a great day out, especially with the beautiful weather. I highly recommend it!
Excellent visitor experience with a magnificent view and thoughtful design. This charming little coffee shop offers delicious hot meals, making it a perfect spot to warm up on a chilly day.
A fantastic piece of technology; definitely worth a visit!
This was a fun tour. We had a nice guide who filled us in on the history of the lighthouse built in 1787. And we got to go up into it, including seeing the mechanism that turns the prisms around the light. The lighthouse was built inside an abandoned castle!
Stunning representation of period style lighthouse still in fully functional order. Great views from on top of the lighthouse and also very interesting guided tour with a very enthusiastic guide who is very knowledgeable about his trade. A definite must see. Ensure you stop at the most North Eastern point of Scotland to see this.
